Gabicci Vintage

In 1973 2 friends Jack Sofier & Alex Pyser had visited Italian seaside resort of Gabicce Mare. Discovering the style and quality of Italian menswear, upon returning to London, they set about fusing the Italian style with their own British expertise and at 1 Maddox St, the brand was born. With a eye on creating an upmarket look, although achieved, the brand soon was picked up by fashion hungry teens, ranging from 2nd generation Black Londoners, 70s Northern Soul Boys, Football Casuals, Mods, plus a whole stack of celebrities. All eager to wear and be seen in. And so it remains, spanning generations, all of whom are after “the look”.
