Fred Perry
Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry founded the Fred Perry brand in 1952, designing his first pique polo shirt the same year. Designed to be worn on the court with a Laurel Wreath on the chest. Throughout the 50s and 60s various new designs and colourways were introduced such as the M12 & M3600. Originally adopted by the Mod movement across Britain, the polo shirt became a staple of the skinhead subculture which emerged as Mods started listening to Jamaican reggae. The brand evolved with many subcultures and designs continued to flow into T Shirts, Knitwear, Trousers Footwear & Accessories. Today is as prominent and popular as it has ever been
